SOUTH BEND, Ind. –– It's been a long time coming, but after more than a decade, the Panthers are headed to the 3A state championship game. The South Bend Washington girls basketball team beat Norwell 61 to 40 in an effort to secure their championship spot.
The Panthers will play at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in the state championship game next weekend.
