South Bend Community Police Review Board met Thursday night
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Downtown South Bend, Inc. (DTSB) hosted its annual Holiday Light Parade Friday evening.
Nearly 50 businesses, clubs and organizations hit the streets with elaborate floats, walking groups and performances, and lit up vehicles.
One of the floats featured six singing portable toilets. Stevie Dee, the director of marketing for the business behind the out-of-the-box design, Service Sanitation, said the parade is both good for business and brings joy to the community.
“The little kids love it, so that’s what we were going for, something a little different and it’s one way you can get a bunch of people to look at a Port-A-Potty in a positive light,” said Dee.
DTSB is holding holiday events all throughout December, click here to see what else is going on in downtown for the rest of the month.
