SOUTH BEND, Ind. – A winner for Teacher of the Year was announced by the South Bend School Corporation during a live-streamed ceremony honoring those for their excellence in teaching.
The 2021 Teacher of the Year is Susan Davis, who teaches first graders at Clay International Academy.
Davis will receive a $2,500 Professional Growth Grant from the South Bend Education Foundation. The grant will go towards instructional materials and supplies.
All the nominees received a Certificate for Exemplary Teaching.
The second and third place winners also received grant funding in recognition of their efforts.
