SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Community School Corporation announced the Board of School Trustees approved new school start times for the upcoming 2025-26 school year.

Middle school students will start at 8:30 a.m., aligning with high school students.

Officials say Clay International Academy school days will be 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

School officials say elementary and K-8 schools will remain on the 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. schedule.

Rise Up Academy will operate from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

School officials say these changes are designed to support student well-being and academic success.
