South Bend Police kicking off summer break with family cookout

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Police Department is celebrating the beginning of summer break with the family-friendly “School’s Out Cookout” on June 3 at Kennedy Park.
The event runs from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free to attend.
Along with food and drinks, attendees can enjoy games and giveaways during the cookout.
Kennedy Park is located just off of North Meade Street in the city’s Lincoln Manor neighborhood.
