Indiana State Rep retires after 22 years of service
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a motorcycle crash in on Lombardy Drive and Western Avenue Thursday evening.
The crash happened just after 5:30 p.m. near the Kroger.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to the hospital and has non-life threatening injuries now. Police believe the victim was not wearing a helmet.
According to police, the crash was a hit-and-run.
A white Ford-Explorer type SUV and the motorcycle collided, according to South Bend Police.
Officer Lupica told ABC 57 the vehicle fled the scene but should have a fair amount of front end damage.
The occupants of the SUV were a white male and female.
