Whiteout conditions for some with lake effect snow today
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The South Bend Fire Department responded to a structure fire in the 600 block of La Porte Avenue Friday morning.
The call came in at 10:04 a.m. reporting the incident.
Firefighters had the flames under control within 20 minutes.
No one was in the building when the fire started, and no one was injured.
Crews are investigating what caused it.
