SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Before the South Bend Cubs' season officially starts, they will play the University of Notre Dame's baseball team in a 7 inning exhibition game at Four Winds Field on April 4.

Tickets are $5 and all proceeds go to charity.

"Not only does this exhibition game give our team an opportunity to get ready for the 2018 season, but it also allows us to give back to our community," said South Bend Cubs President Joe Hart. "This game also acts as a full practice for some of our new game day staff to ensure everything runs smoothly on Opening Day.”

Ticket sales form the game will be split between Notre Dame and the South Bend Cubs.

Notre Dame will donate their portion to the Perley Scholarship at the Kroc Center. The South Bend Cubs will donate their proceeds to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Michiana.

"We're thrilled to be able to play the South Bend Cubs again,” said Notre Dame Baseball Head Coach Mik Aoki. “All of our kids aspire to play pro ball and the chance to see, up close, what that looks like is exciting for us.  We also very much value the chance to bring the greater South Bend community together to see the 2018 version of the South Bend Cubs.”

Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the South Bend Cubs Box Office, online at SouthBendCubs.com, or by calling (574) 235-9988.
