South Bend Brew Werks to reopen in new location
SOUTH BEND, Ind.—South Bend Brew Werks is preparing to reopen in its new location this summer.
The brewery is planning to officially open on June 2 to the general public in its new location at 321 S. Main Street in Suite 105B.
Ahead of the big opening, the brewery will hold an invite-only soft opening event for members of their Lifetime Mug Club.
South Bend Brew Werks’ hours of operation will be Wednesday and Thursday from 4 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 12 to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 12 to 8 p.m. It is closed on Monday and Tuesday.
The new location gives the brewery 75% more seating capacity, a kitchen three times bigger than the old one and more parking availability for customers, according to owner and head brewer, Steve Lowe.
South Bend Brew Werks’ “Beer4Good” program will continue at the new location, which allows patrons to participate in a donation program that benefits community organizations.
In addition to offering seasonal and staple brews, South Bend Brew Werks’ menu features flatbreads, grilled cheeses, pastas, tacos and more.
The brewery used to operate at 216 South Michigan Street but issues with flooding at the State Theater caused the business to close that location.
