The snow sticks around
NILES TOWNSHIP, Mich. — As of Monday evening, hundreds were still without power in Berrien County, while crews brace for a second round of winter weather.
For now, I&M expects those who lost power in the first round of snow to be restored by as late as 11 p.m. Monday evening.
ABC57’s Jackie Bauer checked in on those without power on the west side of Niles and around Niles Township. In Cass County, nearly 200 customers near Barron Lake were still out as of 4 o’clock.
Crews have been working around the clock to repair downed lines and clear fallen trees.
