ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Friday, June 9, 2023
Although today will be sunny with temperatures in the mid 70s, smoke from the Canadian wildfires will be transported via northwesterly winds into Michiana's vicinity, producing a hazy, milky view today. The smoke will cause air quality to decrease, although not to the extent seen in the American northeast with New York and Philadelphia. Otherwise, today will feel Summer-like. Temperatures drop into the low 50s across Michiana tonight as partly cloudy skies develop overnight. Saturday is shaping up to be mostly cloudy as temperatures climb into the mid 80s, but rain is on the way late Saturday night into early Sunday morning. Rain showers are expected to move in after midnight, cooling temperatures down into the high 50s Saturday night and keeping high temperatures in the low 70s during Sunday. The best chance for rain will be Sunday afternoon into the early evening hours.
Today: Smoky but sunny. High 76.
Tonight: Partly cloudy. Low 53.
Saturday: Mostly cloudy. High 84.
Sunday: Showers. High 71.
