Small plane crash in La Porte County

LA PORTE COUNTY, Ind. -- The La Porte County Sheriff's Office says they responded to a small engine aircraft crash this afternoon.
It happened this evening in a field along County Road 850 East, north of County Road 150 North.
Police say the pilot sustained just a minor injury.
It's unclear why the plane came down at this time.
