Two people were sent to the hospital after a single vehicle crash in Cass County on Sunday morning.
34 year-old Nicole Brant was traveling southbound on M51 near Crystal Springs St, Pokagon Township with her 9 year-old son.
The vehicle crashed into an embankment and her son was thrown from the vehicle.
The Cass County Sheriff’s office arrived on scene at 1:30 a.m.
Brant was taken to South Bend Memorial Hospital by ambulance for her injuries while her son was flown to Memorial by Med Flight for his injuries.
The crash remains under investigation.
