Simon malls, including UP Mall, reopening next week

University Park Mall in Mishawaka and Lighthouse Premium Outlets in Michigan City will reopen next week, according to a report on CNBC.
The CNBC report says internal memos say Simon Property Group will reopen 49 of its malls and outlet centers between May 1 and May 4.
UP Mall and the outlets are scheduled to reopen on Saturday May 2, according to the report.

According to the CNBC report, it would be up to individual stores whether they wanted to reopen.
The company email says the openings are based on current state and local stay at home orders but those are subject to change.
