ORIGINAL: BATESVILLE, Ind. -- The Batesville Police Department is investigating the disappearance of Sonya Balsley, a 28-year-old Black female standing 5'4" and weighing roughly 202 pounds.

Authorities say Balsley has black hair with brown eyes and was last seen in Batesville wearing a white sweatshirt with black and red sleeves and black leggings on July 29 around 10 a.m.

She is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.

Batesville is 63 miles southeast of Indianapolis.
