UPDATE: The Silver Alert has been cancelled for 86-year-old William Powers. 

PORTER COUNTY, Ind. -- The Porter County Sheriff’s Department announced on Tuesday evening that it is investigating the disappearance of 86-year-old William Powers, who was last seen driving a silver 2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with Indiana license plate number TK656MBH.

Powers is a 5'9" white male weighing around 155 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, collared shirt.

He is missing from Valparaiso, which is about 60 miles southwest of South Bend. He was last seen on Tuesday, Dec.10, at 5 a.m.

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
