One man was shot outside of the food court at the University Park Mall Saturday afternoon, Lieutenant Tim Williams of the Mishawaka Police Department said.
The shooting happened just after noon.
The victim was taken to the hospital non-life-threatening injuries, according to officers.
The shooter is believed to have fled the scene in a white SUV.
