Beginning Monday, Dec. 14, community members seeking a COVID test can go to the park, located at 411 W. Plymouth Ave., during the Center’s operating hours:
- Mondays and Wednesdays: 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday and Fridays: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 24: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Thursday, Dec. 31: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
The Center is moving the testing site to the park in an effort to create a larger space for vehicle traffic.
The drive-through testing site is for both uninsured and insured people.
Shanklin Park will continue to stay open to the public during park hours, though visitors may experience an increase in traffic on testing days.
Recycling containers typically stationed at the park will be moved to the park’s south parking lot.
