ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – Shanklin Park in Goshen will be the newest location for the Center for Healing and Hope COVID-19 testing site.

Beginning Monday, Dec. 14, community members seeking a COVID test can go to the park, located at 411 W. Plymouth Ave., during the Center’s operating hours:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 12 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Fridays: 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 24: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, Dec. 31: 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

The Center is moving the testing site to the park in an effort to create a larger space for vehicle traffic.

The drive-through testing site is for both uninsured and insured people.

Shanklin Park will continue to stay open to the public during park hours, though visitors may experience an increase in traffic on testing days.

Recycling containers typically stationed at the park will be moved to the park’s south parking lot.

For more testing information, contact the Center for Healing and Hope at 574-534-4772, or visit their website.

The testing site located at 902 S. Main St. will stay open on Dec. 11 and 12 and will be open on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve.
