Section of Main Street in South Bend to close for utility work Wednesday

ABC 57 SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Main Street between Eckman Street and Fairview Avenue will close beginning Wednesday for water connection work.
South Bend officials say the detour routes will be Ewing and Chippewa Avenues via Michigan Street.
The city expects the work to be done by Friday, weather permitting.
