MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- The School City of Mishawaka addressed recent threats of gun violence Tuesday, saying that each threat was deemed not credible and unsubstantiated.
These threats follow several days of similar actions against schools throughout Michiana, including South Bend, Whitko, Prairie Heights and others.
The School City of Mishawaka uses a Virginia-based model of action when it comes to determining whether or not a threat is credible.
In Tuesday’s case, the school system believed that classes should go on, since there was considered to be no threat to students.
Similar to the threats made Monday against South Bend schools, Tuesday’s threats came from the popular social media app Snapchat before being circulated on other platforms.
