UPDATE: Family located after SBPD find children alone in River Park

SBPD UPDATE as of 11:26 p.m.:
South Bend Police say the family of the found children has been located.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Officers with the South Bend Police Department are actively trying to locate the parents or guardians of these two young boys.
They were found outside along in River Park.
Police posted the alert on Facebook, saying the children were located on a bench near Mishawaka Avenue and 24th Street around 9 p.m.
Anyone with information is asked to please call 911.
