SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Common Council unanimously adopted the Downtown 2045 Plan Monday evening.
The 2045 Plan aims to bring new housing, jobs, and services to the area.
The council also created nine priorities, based on community feedback, including expanding housing options, growing and supporting local businesses, and creating vibrant public places.
