ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The Saint Joseph County Emergency Management Agency is warning people to be ready for potential flooding this weekend.
The agency is having free sandbags assembly for those who wish to combat potential flooding.
“We want people to be prepared, I mean, the best defense in any incident that happens is being prepared and having a plan,” said John Antonucci, the St. Joseph County Emergency Management Agency Director.
While the sand and bags are provided and the agency asks that people bring their own shovels to assemble the bags.
The agency released the following lists of places where sandbags can be made:
