Rolling Prairie Elementary gets new Principal
NEW PRAIRIE, Ind. -- On Thursday, New Prairie United Schools announced the hiring of David Burden as the next principal of Rolling Prairie Elementary.
"Mr. Burden is perfectly situated to lead Rolling Prairie forward after the great work of the teaching staff and Dr. Moore achieved together in the past two years," said Superintendent Paul White. "Mr. Burden's passion and heart for teaching and leading schools to great work for students will be immediately evident. He will hit the ground running to continue what is great about Rolling Prairie and will lead the staff and students to additional successes in the future."
Burden was unanimously approved for a two-year contract and will begin as principal at Rolling Prairie in July.
"Mr. Burden comes to NPUSC after many successful years of service as a teacher, instructional coach, and administrator in Warsaw, LaVille, and Elkhart Community Schools," said Administrative Assistant to the Superintendent Lisa Deutscher. "Mr. Burden is known for being an energetic and passionate educator with significant experiences in STEM education initiatives, active learning for students, and bringing the community and the classroom together for excellent learning experiences for students."
Burden is exciting to hit the ground running in his new role.
