Rider ejected from motorcycle after deer runs in front, airlifted to hospital

ABC 57 MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A 67-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to the hospital after a deer ran in front of him, leading to a crash.
The motorcyclist was traveling north on Thorn Road south of 3B Road around 6:33 p.m., Monday, when a deer ran in front of him, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
The man was unable to avoid crashing into the deer and was thrown off his motorcycle. He was later airlifted to Memorial Hospital in South Bend.
