FIRST WARNING NEIGHBORHOOD WX FORECAST
Sunday, December 8th, 2019
Rain showers move in tonight and last through much of Monday. The best chance of steady rain comes between 4 a.m. and 2 p.m. Monday. Heavy rain and thunderstorms are not expected. It will be mild and a little breezy with temperatures rising into the lower 50s on Monday.
Much colder air rapidly moves in Monday night, changing any light showers over to light snow showers, especially closer to Lake Michigan. No accumulation or impacts are expected from the snow.
The bigger story will be the colder air for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will fail to reach 30° Tuesday, will only rise into the mid-20s Wednesday and will rise to just above freezing by Thursday. Fortunately this period looks mainly quiet with just some extra cloud cover at times.
Tonight: Rain showers develop. Low of 45.
Monday: Rain showers, especially through midday. Breezy. High of 50.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy. Breezy. High of 29.
Wednesday: Partly to mostly cloudy. Outside chance of a flurry. High of 25.
