ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Thursday, August 15, 2024
The humidity and rain chances are back today. Rain and storms exist to our west, but this rain will struggle some this morning to reach the ground as the lower levels are pretty dry. This morning has a small chance of light rain/drizzle but much of the morning will just end up being overcast. Better chances for light rain showers exist in the afternoon and evening, but with minimal to no impacts. Highs will be near 80 today, so a little cooler than yesterday. Thunderstorms could develop tonight into Friday morning as a warm front nears with more instability, but severe weather is unlikely. Heavy rain rates would be the biggest concern with this as it moves through the area. A few more scattered storms are possible Friday afternoon and evening with very low severe weather chances again. Humidity and the heat peaks Friday afternoon with highs in the mid 80s. Rain showers linger into Saturday as cooler and less humid air gradually settles in. Next week looks mild, dry, and comfortable!
Today: Light rain showers mostly in the afternoon and humid. High 79.
Tonight: Thunderstorms and humid. Low 68.
Friday: Scattered storms/partly cloudy and muggy. High 86.
Saturday: Showers. High 79.
