ABC57 First Warning Neighborhood Weather Forecast
Saturday July 19, 2025
We’ll start the morning off relatively quiet with just a few clouds. However, cloud cover will increase later in the morning ahead of this afternoon’s showers and storms. Temperatures will climb into the 80s, with dew points in the 70s, making for a hot and steamy day as storms roll in. The SPC still has the entire forecast area in the Slight risk for severe weather.
While some forecast models suggest a later arrival, we will keep the storm arrival timeframe between 1 PM and 7 PM. There are a couple of scenarios for how the afternoon could play out.
The first scenario would be a line of storms arrives early in the afternoon, with the main threat being damaging winds and localized flooding (rather than widespread flooding as initially anticipated).
The second would be storms weaken as they approach the area, sliding southward with possible redevelopment overnight.
Uncertainty remains, but areas along and east of US 30 are most likely to see severe weather in both instances.
Nonetheless, if you have outdoor plans today, stay weather ready. A few showers may linger into Sunday morning, but the rest of the day looks mostly dry. Looking ahead, heat and humidity return by midweek, with highs in the 90s and heat indices potentially reaching the triple digits.
Today: Afternoon storms likely. High 84.
Tonight: Lingering showers. Low 68.
Sunday: Lingering showers, mostly cloudy. High 81.
Monday: Mostly sunny, warm. High 82.
