WINAMAC, Ind. — Pulaski County Historical Society & Museum cut the ribbon on their final home for history Tues. evening, where over 100 community members showed up in support.
The president of the society, Ryan Harrison, said their goal was to draw people in with the new shining-white building, located at 110 North Monticello Street (U.S. 35).
“We knew that we wanted to be downtown so that we could be involved in all the downtown activities and… anybody coming through town would see us, we wanted to be a focal point… we still have a lot of stuff in storage, we can’t put everything out all at once, so I’m anxious for people to come back in and say, ‘oh it’s not the same as it was before’,” said Harrison.
