SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Ball State Associate Professor Chad Kinsella sat down with ABC57's Brian Conybeare about a recent United States Supreme Court decision and the upcoming presidential debate between President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump.
The Supreme Court ruled that Republican-led states did not have standing to challenge the Biden administration's efforts to contact social media companies to combat misinformation and disinformation on social media.
The Biden administration has reached out to social media companies about misinformation on different topics, such as vaccines, election results, and online hate.
Professor Kinsella also spoke about the upcoming presidential debate and what the stakes are for President Biden and former President Trump.
He broke down the rules and how they affect each candidate's chances to have a strong debate showing.
