Preview a special edition of ABC57 Kickoff for the Notre Dame Blue-Gold Game

SOUTH BEND, Ind. - The 93rd Annual Notre Dame Blue-Gold Game is almost here, and ABC57 Kickoff's team will be there with exclusive one-on-one interviews and special guests like former Notre Dame players.

The quarterback competition took a hit with Riley Leonard out with the ankle injury, but we will see Steve Angeli, Kenny Minchey, and the freshman CJ Carr in action.

Kickoff's Allison Hayes has a one-on-one with Notre Dame Athletic Director Emeritus Jack Swarbrick to talk about his role in the historical changes, the high and low points of his career, and why he thinks name, image, and likeness rights, or NIL, are damaging college sports.

And Kickoff's own Vahid Sadrzadeh visited, former Indiana Mr. Football, Jack Kiser's hometown of Royal Center, about 90 minutes from Notre Dame, where Kiser helped lead Pioneer High School to back-to-back state championships.
