Potawatomi Zoo announces dates for special winter visitation

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The Potawatomi Zoo will be opening its doors for special Winter Days.

The Zoo will be open on Jan. 19, Feb. 2, Feb. 16, and March 2 from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.

A statement from Executive Director of the Zoo, Marcy Dean said, “We know people miss seeing the animals during the off-season, so we always set aside a few days to be open to the public in winter. The Zoo and animals can look very different in winter, so we hope people enjoy this unique experience.”

The Learning Center will be open for patrons to take part in crafts and a bake sale to support different areas of the Zoo.

Regular admission for Winter Days is $5.50 per person; ages 2 and younger are free. Admission for members is also free.
