Portion of Jefferson Boulevard closes down for maintenance

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Jefferson Boulevard between Twyckenham Drive and Esther Street was closed down on Tuesday so that crews can perform water and sewer connection work. The street is expected to reopen on Friday.
The reopening date depends on the weather.
Motorists will be detoured via Greenlawn Avenue, Colfax Avenue and Twyckenham Drive.
