Portillo’s hiring drivers for new delivery service

MISHAWAKA, Ind. – Portillo’s, a restaurant known for Chicago-style foods since 1963, is expanding their services to include its own delivery program. The chain will deliver orders from their website or an app.

Portillo’s plans to hire several drivers for each of their 62 restaurants across the country.

Drivers will be cross-trained to be inside the restaurant as well.

Anyone that wishes to apply must be at least 18 years old, have a vehicle, valid driver’s license, and be able to show proof of insurance.

Currently Portillo’s is partnered with third-party delivery services and will continue to do so even after launching their own program.

The restaurants will offer incentives for people to order directly from their website or app, such as discounts and reward programs.
