Police searching for Elkhart County hit-and-run driver

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Medics rushed one man to the hospital after being hit by a car while riding his bike.
It happened just after 7:30 p.m. Monday on County Road 18 in Elkhart County. Police say the driver was westbound when he struck the cyclist and then took off.
Deputies are on the lookout for a black Chevy model car with passenger side damage. It's now missing the passenger side rear-view mirror.
