BENTON HARBOR, Mich.—Police say that the shooting death of an active military member on Monday may have been targeted.
Tyrone Hassel III, 23, was shot and killed outside of his parents’ home in Benton Harbor on Monday night after returning to celebrate the holidays.
St. Joseph Township Police Chief Ross Bates confirmed that police are investigating Hassel’s death as if it were targeted.
There is no suspect information at this time.
