The males ran from the scene and left in a black SUV.
Police believe the suspects are black males, between 5’6” and 6’ tall and were wearing black clothing and masks.
No one was injured in the incident, Indiana State Police reported. The Notre Dame officer is on paid leave pending the outcome of ISP's investigation.
