Police investigating shooting on Miami Street

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police received a call around 2:20 p.m. Sunday about a man shot in the foot at the GoLo gas station on Miami Street.
The shooting is still under investigation and no suspect has been put into custody.
Police have not released the details of the man’s injuries, but initial information suggests they are non-life threatening.
Unconfirmed information from witnesses say the man called for a ride to the hospital, but then that car was involved in an accident, prompting the man to call for another ride.
