Police: Home hit by gunfire on Monroe Street

ELKHART, Ind.—According to the Elkhart Police Department, a home was hit by gunfire on September 25.
Officers were sent to the 700 block of Monroe Street around 7:27 p.m. regarding reports of a fight and sounds of gunfire.
Officers arrived on scene to find that the suspects had left the area.
A home was found with damage that appeared to be have been caused by a bullet.
No injuries were reported.
The case remains under investigation.
