Police arrest Bristol woman for Public Intoxication after patrol car collision

BRISTOL, Ind. -- In Elkhart County, this Bristol woman, 32-year-old Sonya Fletcher, is accused of slamming into an officer's patrol car.
Police said she was drunk when she hit Officer Todd Horner's car, Sunday evening, and took off.
It happened near the intersection of County Road 8 and County Road 27.
She was later found walking, near St. Joseph and Charles Streets.
Police said she failed a breathalyzer test with a .20 BrAC (Breath Alcohol Concentration).
Fletcher was arrested for public intoxication.
The incident is still under investigation.
