Play Bird Bingo at Cobus Creek on Wednesday Bird Walk
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. --On Wednesday, July 3, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., you can seek out a spectrum of colorful birds on a group scavenger hunt, with the Elkhart County Parks, at Cobus Creek County Park.
This free naturalist-led walk will highlight the park's colorful feathered residents, and participants can see how many colors of the bird rainbow they can find on a bingo scavenger hunt, along the way.
Bingo birders might even win a little rainbow of their own as a prize.
This event is free and open for age 8 and up, with all activities to take place outside, rain or shine, so participants are advised to dress for the weather.
Binoculars will be available, and birders will meet at Cobus Creek County Park, located at 30680 County Road 8 in Elkhart, where the group will head out from at 8:00 a.m.
You're asked to please plan travel time accordingly.
Bird walks are offered on the first Wednesday of every month by the Elkhart County Parks, with special extended walks to be included this summer and fall.
