Peaceable Primate Sanctuary to host Baboon Fest Sunday

WINAMAC, Ind. -- The Peaceable Primate Sanctuary announced it will host Baboon Fest on Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m., with live music, face painting, food, and more.

The sanctuary has 96 primate retirees which attendees can see. Most of the primates are baboons or macaques.

The fest will also include crafts, monkey retiree art raffle, and live country and blues music by Triple C.

Organizers ask for a $10 donation for adults, but children are free.

Attendees are encouraged to dress up in Halloween costumes.
