Passenger killed in crash on SR 17

MARSHALL COUNTY, Ind. -- A woman was killed in a crash on SR 17 at 20A Road Monday afternoon, according to the Marshall County Sheriff's Department.
The crash happened just before 6 p.m.
Witnesses told deputies a Buick LeSabre ran off the road, over corrected and skidded into the northbound lane and into the path of a Ford Edge, deputies said.
The driver and two children in the Buick were transported via helicopter to area hospitals. A female passenger, Kristen Fisher, was pronounced deceased.
The female driver of the Ford Edge was taken to the hospital in Plymouth.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected to be factors in the crash.
