Pulaski County, Ind. – The Panhandle Pathway has been added to the National Trails System by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior.
The 22-mile trail, which runs through both Pulaski and Cass counties, was dubbed a National Recreation Trail.
Twenty-nine other trails in 25 total states were included in the announcement.
As a National Recreation Trail, the Pathway will receive a certification of designation, a set of trail markers, and a letter of recognition.
