Marvel at moths at the “Creatures of the Night” program on August 28 at Ox Bow County Park ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- Elkhart County Parks will be hosting a "Creatures of the Night" program on Aug. 28 from 9 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.
The program will be held at Ox Bow County Park in the Black Maple Shelter.
This free program provides insight on the lives of moths and observe a variety of species up close.
Activities will include an engaging talk by moth expert, Andy Ammons, educational displays, and a “mothing” station with illuminated sheets to attract a variety of moths and other nighttime insects.
The event is open to ages 12+ and no registration is required.
"Creatures of the Night" is weather dependent and participants should check the Elkhart County Parks Facebook or website for any updates or changes.
