One person injured in shooting at Rush and South streets

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One person was taken to the hospital with a gunshot wound after South Bend Police responded to the area of Rush and South streets Thursday.

When police arrived just after 4 p .m., they found one person with a gunshot wound, police said.

The person was transported to the hospital with a non-life threatening injury.
