One person injured in early morning fire

Fire crews in South Bend battled an early morning house fire on the city's west side.
It happened just before 5:00 Wednesday morning in the 1000 block of LaSalle Court.
One person was taken to Memorial Hospital with minor burns.
The cause remains under investigation.
