New interchange at S.R. 2 in New Carlisle moves forward
ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A man died and a woman was injured in a domestic incident Thursday morning.
The Elkhart County Sheriff's Office responded to a home in the 23000 block of Florence Avenue to investigate a domestic battery incident involving weapons.
When deputies arrived, they found a 35-year-old man who was unconscious and a woman with cuts, reports said.
The woman was airlifted to the hospital for treatment.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
He had been stabbed, deputies said.
Deputies said there is no threat to the public.
The Elkhart County Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation.
