One dead in early morning crash

ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. – One person has died following a two vehicle crash in Elkhart County Friday morning, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office reported.
At 3:43 a.m., police were called to the 16000 block of S.R. 120 for reports of a crash.
A 2001 Nissan Maxima was traveling westbound on S.R. 120, east of C.R. 29, when it crossed the center divider line and crashed head-on into a 2007 Chevrolet Malibu that was traveling eastbound on S.R. 120, police said.
The driver of the Maxima, a Bristol man, was pronounced deceased on the scene by paramedics.
The driver of the Malibu was taken to a local hospital in stable condition with a broken leg.
