KOSCIUSKO COUNTY, Ind. -- One person is dead after a crash involving three semitrucks.

This happened the evening of August 16 on US 30 and State Road 13 in Washington Township.

The preliminary investigation shows two of the trucks were stopped at the intersection for a red traffic light. Officials say a third semi crashed into the back of the second semi and continued westbound into the first semi.

65-year-old Richard Bacorn of Orland Park, Illinois, was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries.

There were no other injuries reported.
